how does gentle parent coaching help?
If you are feeling hopeless, exhausted, and confused about how to manage some of the challenging aspects of parenting, parent coaching may be right for you. Despite the overwhelming amount of information available about parenting, navigating what to implement and how to implement strategies can be overwhelming. Step 1
family history form – Before our first consultation, you will receive a comprehensive history form. Your answers will help us get really clear on your needs and goals, so we jump right into our work when we first meet.

Step 2
initial phone session - This is a comprehensive “2” hour phone call, ideally including up to two caregivers. Rebecca will collect all the data and personally type up and send you her follow-up notes. We will focus on your family, determine where you need the most support, get you into a great daily schedule, create a game plan for best parent coaching strategies for your family.
This will include:
s.e.a. schedule – You will receive examples of what a typical daily schedule would look like for your child's age.
routine – You will receive detailed routines covering the parts of the day that need help in distressing.
parent coaching handouts – You will receive detailed handouts specific ways to handle difficulties that you are currently facing.
parent coaching resources – for you to find additional support and different styles of parenting.
Step 3
First On-Site Visit: This comprehensive one-and-a-half-hour in-home visit will take place two to four days after the initial phone session. Ideally, all caregivers and the child or children will be present. Rebecca will first meet with the caregivers, followed by engaging the family in their daily routine or through organized play. She will collect data during this time and will personally compile and send her follow-up notes to you.
Step 4
Coaching Call: One (1) 30-minute consultation call. The call will take place a few days after each in-home visit, excluding holidays and personal days. These calls will be scheduled in advance.
Step 5
Second On-Site Visit: This comprehensive one-and-a-half-hour in-home visit will take place one week after the first in-home visit. Ideally, all caregivers and the child or children will be present. Rebecca will first meet with the caregivers, followed by engaging the family in their daily routine or through organized play. She will collect data during this time and will personally compile and send her follow-up notes to you.
Step 6
Coaching Call: One (1) 30-minute consultation call. The call will take place a few days after each in-home visit, excluding holidays and personal days. These calls will be scheduled in advance.
Step 7
Wrap-up Phone Call and Email: One (1) 30-minute consultation call. We will review the parenting concerns you raised. Additionally, we will discuss the work you accomplished and any anticipated parenting concerns. Following this discussion, you will receive your wrap-up email.
Step 8
Follow-up Emails: Caregivers are encouraged to send two follow-up emails during the two weeks following the in-home sessions. You may reach out to Rebecca with any follow-up questions you may have. These communications can be utilized up to two weeks after the wrap-up call.

The entire In-Home Program is good for up to 2 consecutive weeks from date of purchase. If your child becomes ill during our work together, I may allow for a one time package hold, for up to one week. At which point we will resume where we left off.
